Tooth Fairy

Tooth Fairy Video Transcription

“Hello children, I’m the Tooth Fairy, and today I want to talk to you about going to the dentist for the very first time. I know that most of you are very excited, but I know that some of you out there may be a little bit worried. To show you that you have nothing to worry about, and to feel happy and excited, I have taken a special trip to my favourite dental practice, Smile Solutions.

On this day, four year old Michaela has an appointment. She has come to Smile Solutions to get her teeth cleaned. She’s not scared at all, actually she is very excited. I really love this cool fish tank and if you look closely you may even find Nemo.

Here is one of the beautiful rooms you go into for your visit. Here is the special chair that you will sit in. If you are asked really nicely, you may even be taken for a quick ride in the chair. The coolest part is that you are able to watch one of my favourite DVDs. Did you know that children need to come for their first check up at the dentist, when they are about 3 years old? And then come to the dentist every 6 months to make sure their teeth are healthy forever. At Smile Solutions, we have some very lovely ladies who will count and clean your teeth.

Here are a few of the special instruments that they will use. This one is called a triplex, it will tickle your gums and blow lots of cool air. This one is called a suction. It is a tiny little vacuum cleaner, sucks out some of your drool. After your visit, your teeth and mouth will feel great because all the yucky plaque and grime has been cleaned away. You will also get a special my first visit to the dentist certificate with your photo on it, and most exciting of all you will get a special gift from me, the Tooth Fairy. It is a special bag full of fun and useful things for your teeth, if you look inside you will even find a toothbrush with flashing lights for you to use at home. I hope now, that you are all looking forward to your visit to the dentist. Oh and by the way, please remember to tell your mummy and daddy, when your teeth are wobbling that they can call me on my special tooth fairy number. That way when they fall out, I will fly out of my tower and leave a very special gift under your pillow. Please remember that your teeth need to be in your mouth your whole life. So make sure, that you brush them twice a day for two minutes. Also please remember to go to the dentist every 6 months, and make sure that you are eating all of your fruits and vegetables.

And now it’s goodbye from me the Tooth Fairy.”
