These terms and conditions govern the (‘the Competition’) run by Smile Solutions Pty Ltd (ABN 28 193 514 103) (‘Smile Solutions’). If you have any questions about these terms and conditions, please contact marketing@smilesolutions.com.au.

ELIGIBILITY

• The Competition commences 1 May 2024 and entries close at 11:59pm (AEDT) on 31 May 2024.
• Entrants must follow the guidelines on the Entry Form and comply with these terms and conditions. Any failure to comply with these terms and conditions, or the Entry Form requirements, will result in ineligibility.
• Entry is open to Australian dental students in their final year of study.
• Employees of Smile Solutions (or related entities), their immediate families, and persons with whom Smile Solutions has a commercial relationship are ineligible to enter.
• Smile Solutions reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions.
• Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Smile Solutions database. Smile Solutions is not responsible for inaccurate or incomplete information, whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming, or by any technical error that may occur in the course of administration of this Competition. Smile Solutions assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or alteration of entries.

VIDEO SUBMISSION

• Entrants must submit a video in response to the prompt “Day in the Life of a Dental Student”.
• Video submissions must be 90 seconds.

JUDGING AND NOTIFICATION

• Three winners will be chosen from the eligible pool of entrants and judged based on the successful completion of the entry form and video submission.
• There will be a First Place Winner, Second Place Winner, and Third Place Winner.
• It is expected that the Winners will be decided on 18 June 2024. The Winners will be notified by 21 June 2024.

REQUIREMENTS – WINNERS

• The Winners must agree and adhere to these terms and conditions. Failure to comply with these terms may result in alternative Winners being chosen.
• The Winners must be prepared to attend Smile Solutions’ midyear grad talk 6 July 2024 to redeem their prize money.

THE PRIZE – WINNERS

• Each Winner will receive a prize money amount, redeemable upon attendance of the Smile Solutions’ mid-year grad talk 6 July 2024.
• The First Place Winner will receive a cash prize of $3,000.
• The Second Place Winner will receive a cash prize of $2,000.
• The Third Place Winner will receive a cash prize of $1,000.

USE OF INFORMATION AND PRIVACY POLICY

• By submitting personal information and entering the Competition, you agree Smile Solutions and Smile Solutions employees may collect, use, and disclose to third parties the content of your video submission and such personal information in accordance with these terms and conditions, the Smile Solutions privacy policy and as otherwise permitted or required by law.
• Information submitted by entrants will be used to judge their skill relative to other entrants to determine the First, Second and Third Place Winners. .
• In addition to the above, all information supplied will be treated in accordance with the Smile Solutions privacy policy available here.
• All entrants consent to Smile Solutions using your personal information for direct marketing including providing you with additional communications, information, opportunities, and promotions. If you do not agree with your personal information being used in accordance with these terms and conditions, do not enter the Competition and do not provide any personal information to us.

GENERAL TERMS

• If, for any reason, this Competition is not capable of running as planned, Smile Solutions reserves the right, subject to any written direction given by a relevant Regulatory Authority, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Competition. Smile Solutions may, at its sole discretion, disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
• Disruption to the Competition may include, but is not limited to fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the control of Smile Solutions which corrupt or affect the administration, security, judging or integrity of the Competition.
• Smile Solutions reserves the right to amend, modify, cancel, or withdraw this Competition and its terms and conditions at any time without notice.
• This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram or TikTok.
