Claiming Invisalign through your private health insurance
If your level of cover includes major orthodontics, you will be eligible for a rebate on your Invisalign treatment.
Most health insurance providers impose a yearly and a lifetime limit on orthodontic cover, but at Smile Solutions we can tailor your payment plan to maximise your eligible rebates.
Also, many major health funds will let you claim orthodontic procedures only if treatment is delivered by a specialist registered with the Dental Board of Australia.
In most instances, expect to receive a reduced or nil rebate from your health fund if your Invisalign treatment is carried out by a general dentist.
Rest assured, at Smile Solutions your Invisalign provider will always be a registered specialist orthodontist!
Will I need retainers after my Invisalign treatment and do I need to pay for them?
Yes, you will be required to wear retainers to keep your teeth in their new position. In most instances, expect to pay $300 to $500 for retainers at the completion of Invisalign treatment, unless these have been included in the price quoted initially.
