General Dentist Qualifications – BSc, DDS (Melb), MBA (La Trobe), MHlth&MedLaw (Melb)

Dr Philippa Robinson has a Bachelor of Science (Physiology) degree and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Melbourne, in addition to a Master of Business Administration from La Trobe University. Pip has practitioner experience across the full range of private dentistry and has also spent time volunteering in dental work overseas.

Pip particularly enjoys cosmetic and preventative dentistry. Embracing available technologies such as CEREC CAD/CAM and dental lasers, she regularly attends continuing education courses to keep abreast of the latest techniques and thus provide the best possible treatment for her patients. Complementing her traditional dental treatment, Pip also provides therapeutic and cosmetic injectable treatment.

In addition, Pip has a particular interest in the care of anxious patients, as she understands that this often presents a strong barrier to dental treatment. In order to accommodate anxious and phobic patients, she offers treatment under nitrous oxide (“happy gas”) and oral medication for suitable patients.

As an adjunct to her dental work at Smile Solutions, Pip also works with the management team in the role of Clinical Director for the practice, acting in part as a conduit between the management and clinical teams.
