Born and raised in country Victoria, Dr Florina Besim completed a Bachelor or Biomedical Science at Latrobe University, before venturing up to the sunny state of Queensland to complete her Bachelor of Dental Science with first class honours at The University of Queensland.

Throughout her studies, Florina has had the opportunity to work in metropolitan and regional Queensland, caring for patients from various backgrounds. Dr Besim is passionate about ensuring her patient’s maintain healthy teeth and gums and saving their natural teeth wherever possible. She is interested in restorative and aesthetic dentistry, periodontal health, and oral surgery. Florina is known for her gentle nature, caring approach, and exceptional communication, always ensuring her patients achieve their ideal treatment outcomes.

Outside of dentistry Florina loves discovering new places around Australia, heading to the beach with her dog, running and hiking. She’s a huge foodie, so make sure you give her all your restaurant recommendations!
