What is the internship program?

Our internship program will provide the opportunity for you to go behind the scenes in Australia’s largest privately owned single location dental practice, and learn how it has continued to succeed and provide exceptional patient care for over 25 years.

Over the course of 2 weeks you will spend time with various members of our team across clinical operations and corporate and administrative management. You will have the opportunity to integrate with our team of dentists, board-registered specialists and hygienists.

Smile Solutions encourages students to remain part of our community following completion of their internship, which may include early intake into our annual graduate program or future employment opportunities.

How does the internship work?

  • Fully paid 2 week internship program*
  • 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday^
  • Weeks can be split upon negotiation provided they are within a reasonable time-frame
  • Applications are open to all Dentistry students that have successful completed their second year of study
  • Daily opportunities for exposure and observation within the practice, contributing to the business
    and working on individual and personally allocated clinical projects

*Paid based on administration award rates. ^All hours to be completed on-site. Travel and accommodation at your own expense.

We have been welcoming graduate dentists for over 25 years, most of most of whom are now senior clinicians in our team. We understand how to nurture recent graduates, and encourage working at your own pace allowing for individual growth and development.
