Dr Artika Soma is registered with the Dental Board of Australia as a specialist endodontist.
As a recipient of the prestigious Equity & Merit scholarship awarded in 2000 by The University of Otago in New Zealand, she elected to study dentistry.
Artika graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2004 and a Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry (specialising in endodontics) in 2009. While in New Zealand, she was involved with undergraduate teaching and worked part-time in a private dental practice limited to endodontics before moving to Melbourne to live in 2010.
She is a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA), the Australian Endodontic Society and the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Endodontics (ANZAE).
Artika is regularly invited to lecture on behalf of the ADA, dental schools and various other dental societies and groups. She is also currently secretary of her local suburban ADA study group.
